GERMANTOWN—State Police in Livingston investigated a fatal farm tractor accident during the snowstorm, February 8 at 9:11 p.m.
Christopher Mahood, 23, of Germantown was driving the tractor in the process of plowing his driveway at 3986 Route 9G when the tractor went off the edge of the road and rolled down a 15-foot embankment.

HUDSON—City Police saved the life of a choking dog, February 3.
Officers were called to 421 Warren Street for an unknown disturbance. When they entered the apartment, they found two dogs attached: one dog had his teeth caught on the other dog’s thin leather collar, according to a press release.

NEW LEBANON— A Lebanon Springs man faces physical violence-related charges for the second time in 10 months.
David Dunavin, 40, was charged with two counts of felony first degree criminal contempt, felony third degree criminal mischief, third degree assault and second degree harassment by Trooper Eric Harris, Saturday evening, January 26.

GREENPORT—A man who allegedly threatened his neighbor with a gun was charged by Livingston State Police, January 15.
Harold J. Davis, 31, of Greenport was charged with second degree menacing and fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon, both class A misdemeanors.

HUDSON—Three men were charged following a home invasion at 109 Fairview Avenue, January 10 at 11:58 p.m.
Hudson Police were called to a fight in a second floor apartment at the Fairview Avenue address. They arrived to find people who attempted to flee upon seeing them. Officers chased one of the subjects and apprehended him a short time later. State troopers, who were in the area, heard the call, assisted and were able to detain a second subject involved. A third subject was detained inside the apartment by Hudson Police.
